Reminder Subject: TALK: Constraining Non-Linear Registration of Functional

Registration of functional and structural images in FMRI is crucial
for spatial localisation but problematic due to the distortions in the
functional (EPI) images. These distortions are localised, non-linear
and do not preserve signal intensity or topology. Standard methods of
non-linear registration are therefore not well suited to this task.
In this talk a non-linear registration method will be presented that
incorporates the relevant MR physics of the image formation process to
constrain the allowable warps, improving the accuracy and robustness
of the registrations for this problem.
