TALK: CISCO - Tech Talk
One of the Future Internet Architecture projects funded by the NSF posits an alternative approach to Internet protocols. It replaces the narrow waist of the Internet with a different protocol architecture focused on named data objects as the fundamental element, as opposed to hosts and
communication channels as exists in TCP/IP.
In this talk we'll present an extended tour of NDN, visiting its main design elements, and giving one view of its promise, failings, and interesting open research problems.
Stop in for pizza and giveaways.
